I’m Shawna—and I help women reclaim what the world taught them to ignore: their rest, their rhythms, and their radiant vitality.

In my work with women over the years, I’ve witnessed one quiet but powerful truth: when a woman begins to sleep well again, everything starts to shift.

This isn’t about pushing harder or doing more.
It’s about softening, listening, and allowing your body to lead the way.


It’s about trusting that your body already knows what it needs.

Through my books, National Board Certified Coaching, and the Third Spark community, I hold space for your return to deep rest, hormonal harmony, and a life that feels like your own again.

Why Third Spark?

At 47, just after my oldest left for college, perimenopause arrived like a wave I never saw coming. First, the hot flashes. Then the sweat-soaked sheets. And the nights—wide awake at 2 a.m., my mind looping through worries I couldn’t quiet. I felt depleted. Frustrated. Stuck in a cycle of sleeplessness that left me unrecognizable to myself.

I tried everything—or so it seemed. But what I truly needed wasn’t another quick fix or late-night Google rabbit hole. I needed real support. So I went back to school for nutrition, determined to learn how to care for my body in a new way. Through deep study and devoted research, I found my way back to rest—and slowly, to feeling like myself again.

Along the way, I uncovered something that changed everything: women are at a significantly higher risk for Alzheimer’s, dementia, heart disease, depression, and autoimmune conditions. And yet—no one was talking about it.

That’s why I founded Third Spark—a space to guide women through the transition so few are prepared for, with science-backed support, gentle wisdom, and deep respect for the intelligence of the body.

Whether you find me through a book, a class, or a conversation, my intention is the same: to walk with you toward sleep, balance, and the bright, rooted vitality that’s still within reach.
